Very, very tempting. The problem is that the guys wife is one of those I can slam my man but no one else can types. Basically if she is tearing him a new one (like the time he set a pool of oil on fire while the RPG party was standing in it) it is OK, but the minute anyone else says a negative word it is time to circle the wagons and go defensive against the world mode. In fairness the individual is getting better, SLOWLY, it's just that he grew up playing modern computer games where everything is about improving 1 character and the devil take everything else and weaning him off of the "must beat game" to "enjoy time with friends and have fun win lose or draw" is a bit of a chore.

I game with John/Nahuris and thought I would add my two cents in as he tries to be a little more diplomatic than I am sometimes. We have a player with a bad case of rules lawyerism to constantly deal with. We don't want to exclude him because a) he owns a lot of the figs we use as he had a lot of time neither John or I had and b) can't exclude him without excluding his wife who is a solid player and tactician that is fun to fight against (not to mention a challenge). Also we do multiple games, Starmada, BattleTech (both tabletop and RPG), Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay ... well you get the idea. The gentleman in question is very enthusiastic, but also once spent 2 weeks with one of the RPG rulebooks working out the shortest way to make himself the most powerful in the shortest amount of time. Even though the mixture made absolutely no sense overall. Consequently we need to be able to say this is the answer or have the entire game day devolve into a this is what the rules say vs. this is what common sense dictates argument which destroys a lot of the fun for everyone (including his wife).

Do you have an ETA for when it will be for sale on-site. Also how soon will a new spreadsheet be available. I can do the math, I just don't like to.

Thank you for the information Mr. Kast. Just so everyone knows I have made a change to the cheat sheet showing that a Q hit CAN destroy a spinal mount and replaced the file with the corrected version. big_smile

I am also confused here. When I created the cheat sheet I was reading the page 31 (section C.27) which states specifically that spinal mount effectiveness is only effected by Hull hits. However, looking at the chart you are correct that Spinal Mounts add to hits for figuring out how many Q hits go on the damage chart. A little assistance and clarification would be nice right about now. I have no problem reworking the cheat sheet once we have an answer.

FYI: The cheat sheet was put together as a quick reference guide during play to avoid have to constantly pull out the rule book. As to the AB firing arc this was based off of the diagram on the bottom left of page 31 section C.27 which diagrams an AB firing arc for a standard spinal mount. The illustration on the right is slightly different because of alterations under Anime-Style Spinal Mounts section C.27.1.
