Okay,
thanks Dan,
I'm kind of relieved. I was going nuts there.

By the way, love the new edition.
Thanks again.

Okay,
I realise this might make me seem sharp as butter, but for the past few days I've been trying to figure out where in the shipbuilder I'm supposed to design the fighters, strikers and seekers.

I downloaded the shipbuilder from the Starmada website. Do I need to register to the Yahoo list to get a different one?

Thanks.

Hi, just a quick question:

On Monday I got an email saying my order's status was changed to "Processing". I assume it means that it's waiting to be picked up by the courrier and then be shipped out. But I couldn't find a definition of the order status terms on the site.

I apologize if this isn't the place to post the question, but I wasn't sure what other category to put it in.

Thanks,
Alex.

But you know, I have to say, those Brigade figs look pretty darn cool.
Once I get my 2 copies of Satrmada X: Brigade in the mail, I might just take a closer look at building a fleet using figs after all. Browsing through the Brigade site, I was surprised that the prices were not as high as I feared...

Foam core... that's not a bad idea.
I would print out a sheet of counters on card stock paper of various colors, glue them onto comic book back boards, cut them out with a cutting board and wrap a small strip of scotch tape around each counter to keep the ink from coming off with use...

I wish I could attach the file here for others to use, but it's in word and I'm not computer saavy enough to know how else to post it.

Wow, I can't tell you how thrilled I was to discover that there's an actual forum for Starmada now. The Yahoo group was fine, but I hated getting all those emails...

Anyway, just out of curiousity, does anybody else play with counters rather than with miniatures? After spending a small fortune on Games Workshop Tyranids, the idea of collecting yet more figs to paint makes me cringe, so I opted to download and print a bunch of starship counter designs and make my own. Fast, cheap, plentiful.
