I am just now finding time to sit down and learn Starmada after having collected the various versions over the past several years and I have a question.

I am interested in doing a Battlestar Galactica style game now,and  perhaps a Star trek syle game in the future.  Which set of rules will be best for me?  I have Starmada, Starmada X, Starmada Admiralty edition and the Starmada Compendium.  (I collect rules  :? )
