Not bothered about comic strips. Don't know why, just never a huge fan. Maybe because it seems too easy for some people to make certain characters almost hugely overpowered (yes, I'm looking at you Marvel/DC)

I'd likely go insane if it weren't for webcomics...when things are going right at work, it's BORING....

I don't think it's the use of Poser, but the lack of realism in posing the figures, coupled with some less-than-expressive faces most of the time...

Speaking as someone who's used art software (those characters are probably Poser characters) for both ships and characters, I can safely say that it's easier to get ships right than characters.

I've considered doing a web comic myself, but lack of time, creative energy and a plot line that interests ME are my current hurdles....
