Topic: Size for ships being converted?

I got my book in today.  (Yay!)

I was dissappointed to see that the "big stuff" by and large wasn't coverted.  (King George V, Orion, etc.)  . . . so I immediately started working on conversions for them!

Had a question though. . .

I can't find anywhere in the conversion rules how you determine what size the ship is?  Was there any particular guideline used for that stat?

It's not in the conversion rules, but it is given in rule 3.5 (Size).

If it's any consolation, I've already done the complete order of battle for Jutland, and numerous other actions and ships.
For both WW I and WW II.
Let me know what you want, and I'll send 'em your way.
It might save you a lot of time.

Size is based on (hull) hits, with the number of hull hits based on real world tonnage.
As Dan has already said, you can find the rules for it in Section 3.5.
The conversion for tonnage to hull hits is on page 32, Section 11.1.
