That puts me in mind of the wooden blocks used for Command & Colors games which you then apply stickers to with artwork for the unit in question.

With the right ship images you could print them on label paper and then stick them to your homemade wooden blocks.

I like the "tent"-style counters provided with Iron Stars etc.  You just have to print them on thick enough paper that they don't blow away if someone breathes too hard!

Would also be happy with box counters to avoid the hassle of assembling and storing miniatures.

I believe they are, as the wording for screens refers to what happens when weapons penetrate the shields.  Therefore the Modulating weapon ignores the shields but is affected by screens.

While some weapons were updated in the 2020 Rules Annex to amend their interactions with screens, Modulating wasn't one of these.

Most rules would classify 3-4pdr as light, 6-9pdr as medium, and 12pdr as heavy.

However, I have seen 9pdr classed as heavy in some rules.

Is there a reason the new Drydock doesn't accept Hull sizes above 20?  The Unity rulebook allows up to 35.
