Great to hear somethings happening after so long.
At a quick look the ships on both Left Flanks are in for a world of hurt. After that - it's every Man / Klingon for himself
I'd be happy with either option, it will just be great to see this project complete.

That's what I thought a 3 years back when we got a puppy. Then 13mths ago along came the baby and believe me, a baby is taking things to a whole new level. :shock:
Like his previous Defiance work, its top notch. The problem is, at this rate we may never see it.
This is also holding up Assault Corps as well. You see, he is obligated to finish the Defiance supplement, and then next on his slate was AC. So the longer CQB takes, the longer it will take before he can even START the layout for AC.
If you stick your head out the window and listen carefully, that distant sobbing sound you hear is me as the realisation of this sets in. Especially as I also want AC to be finished 
And once again the great question (Where the f**k is it?) goes unanswered, leaving behind only more questions:-
Does it exist?
Did it ever exist?
What are they trying to hide, by hiding it?
Can we torture him first, until he tells us. Then kill him, and take his stuff. :twisted:
So what ever happened to the CQB Supplement???
So, 4 months on - any news, any at all, even a slight rumour of the possibility of maybe somone thinking of doing something soon 8)
Couple things:
2) Where's the trust?
I've managed to shepherd Starmada through a decade and a half, and it's only gotten better with time. I would hope nobody thinks I would agree to anything that jeopardizes that.
3) Even if some people are disappointed with the final product (which is, I fear, inevitable, considering the baggage -- good and bad -- that comes with Trek/SFB) remember that Starmada is not a single game that can be "ruined" with a particular setting or sourcebook.
I happen to be thrilled with this development and am VERY excited about the potential in the product/products.
Two very good points. Please forgive us if in our enthuiasm for this we have jumped the gun a bit.
You guys are trying to turn Starmada into SFB. There is absolutely no reason to layer on all those extra rules, or have things move at SFB speeds, or run in phases or any of it.
If you want to play SFB, play SFB. The Starmada version should be very rules light pretty much using the existing rules as they stand today, just with some new ship designs.
Totally agree. The aim here should be to port SFB into Starmada without radically changing Starmada along the way.
So now that we know what you guys have been busy with lately (Starmada Admiralty) does that mean that there might be some action on Defiance CQB soon?????
I don't play 40K so I can't really comment on making Tyranids acting like Tyranids.
What I can say is that the Defiance rules is that if you are prepared to put a bit of time into it (as it can appear a bit daunting at first) they allow you a lot of flexibility in creating your army. And are great to play.
My personal vote is buy them you won't be disappointed.
and I wanted to do a few illustrations for it since the book would be lacking artwork otherwise
I could live with that if it would get the book out the freaking door :wink:

So, is there any more news on D:CQB????
And maybe a bit more info about what's going to be in it would be real nice.
