Topic: Bubble Bread!

Here's a recipe I've found quite tasty. It's for a cheese bread, good as an appetizer or a snack.

Ingredients:
Loaf of French bread
Gorgonzola (or another blue cheese) - 6 oz will be plenty
Mozzarella -- and it had better be the good, fresh stuff. One ball.
A clove of garlic
Butter

Cut the loaf in half lengthwise

Crumble the gorgonzola into a bowl.

Mince the garlic and throw it into the bowl with the gorgonzola

Toss a pat or two of butter in bowl

Mash up the gorgonzola until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Add butter as needed to get a good pasty consistency that will spread. You'll probably need to mix it for a bit; I suggest using a fork.

Once you've got your gorgonzola done up, spread it THINLY on the bread. Shred, grate, or chop the mozzarella and layer it atop the gorgonzola. Then put it under a broiler till the mozzarella is all bubbly (hence the name). Cut it into slices and serve it hot, with marinara sauce for dipping.

Re: Bubble Bread!

I'm just relieved that a bath tub, some bubble bath, and a can of beans aren't involved....
