First off, I can't convey how thrilled I am that this forum is active.  I followed the link from BGG on a lark.

Anyway, I live in Santa Ana, CA (corner of 5 and 55) and I can't get either of my game groups to even try Starmada.  So I am looking for a group nearby.  My first choice would be a VBAM campaign (MOO2 being the best game of all time).  Second choice would be Starmada with the vector rules.  Third choice would be anything that just lets me roll my ion blasters against your shields.

I am clean, housebroken, and don't eat Cheetos at the table.  I am interested in having fun rather than winning, although I will most likely try to make very munchkin ships because I love this rules system.  So a pre-packaged ship list package would be welcomed.
