Or has it been really really dead around here (comparitively speaking) the last few weeks?

A little.
And am I the only one doing anything with Ares?
Well, I'd post more in the basin, but no one comments on my stuff.
Well...I can say my interests are rather narrow given the scope of subjects. But it seemed we had half dozen conversations going at one point...now the daisies be growin.

No, it's been slow.
But then, with an impending wedding, and a busier-than-average start to the academic year, I haven't had much time for gaming.
The good news is that I've got several projects in the 50%-90% completed range, and should be able to get some of them into the public eye shortly.
And am I the only one doing anything with Ares?
Nope...

Wedding?!? OMG!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! When's the happy day dude?!?
My work load hasn't changed much. Still doing 10 hr + days...ugh. Good news is I'll get to play a bit of Starmada saturday...and maybe some Wardogs if there's time. Be the first gaming I've managed to get in since 2003. :?
Yeah, nothing kills more gaming careers than getting married....
I wouldn't want to NOT be married, now that I am, but I did curtail my gaming activities a great deal.
Now I know why you haven't answered my email.
:-)
Where do we send the virtual cards?
FWIW, I'm slowly workin on a RPG based on ARES mechanics, for details check out the ARES Yahoo group. It's butt slow, but no one has complained.
Well, Im active practically all the time, but one hour a day really kills any chance I have of finishing the damn B5W-SX conversion. I'd need three hours, minimum, to put up some of the races like the Drazi.

October 21. 101 years since Nelson's victory at Trafalgar.
It made sense, since we got engaged in Trafalgar Square...
Of course, Nelson won that battle by using a tactic that was considered somewhat insane for the time period......LOL
You have my best of wishes....

As for not posting lately.... I am getting hammered in real life, so just haven't had time.... I haven't even gamed in about 6 weeks......

Congratulations!
Does she game?
Yeah, nothing kills more gaming careers than getting married....
Except having children, of course...
I don't have the latter excuse, I've just been too busy at work and at home renovating projects to do much about anything gaming related -- unless you count "investing" on new minis, of course
Am working on getting back online the D:VG force lists that fell in the line of duty in Dan's War Against Crackers a while back, and might indeed have some of the up in ca. two weeks time... Also still working on coming up with stand-ins for D:VG forces, but haven't had time to post my ideas in a while.
Does she game?
When I whine loud enough, yes.
Both my first wife, and my current one game.... my first wife was a fruitcake, though.... many mental issues.
My current lady and I met at a Warhammer 40K game where she not only beat me.... but did it in a way that ensured that none of my troops even got to flee......

Talk about letting you know up front that there was no escape...
My wife likes board games such as Settlers, Ursuppe, Cleopatra, Tikal, Robo-Ralley etc. We usually at least play such with our friends every other week and 2 player Scrabble at least once a week at the moment.
It would be nice if their were some more MJ12 game players in my area (SW London).
