Topic: Simple question

Ok...I have only read the free rules available online and only viewed one game so far.

Can you turn before moving forward?  Could I place my move order as P3 for instance?

Re: Simple question

Ooo, ooo, I know this one smile

On page 16 of the core rules (which is included in the Demo PDF), "P3P" is given as an example of a valid order.  Therefore i must conclude you can turn before moving forward wink

Re: Simple question

Gee...how many times did I look right at that.  I hate when I act like an idiot!

The obvious will always trip you up more than the obscure.

Re: Simple question

Or the Obscure even.....LOL

Don't worry.... we all do it, some of my friends used to call me the apprentice to the obvious for a reason.....LOL

I never quite made it to master of the obvious

Re: Simple question

<LOL>  I turn 50 this September :!:
I wonder if I need to begin searching for an 'Olde-folks-home that has gaming...
lol
Perhaps I need to change my quote to something like:
"Senility is assimilating me; resistance is futile"

Re: Simple question

I feel so much better now.....
I'll be 38 on the 19th of this month....

At least I'm not the oldest one in this bunch.

You win, though only by a month - I turn 50 in October.

Thankfully, my taxes will be done before then.....

ah... Buckaroo Banzai.  I remember we had that, Time Bandits and Ice Pirates on the same VCR tape when I was a kid...  That's about 7 hours of B-movie bliss...

I turned 39 for the 12th time last October      (for the math challenged, that's 50).   Do I win a prize?

"Oh, sure ya do! Harry tell Glen what he's won!"

" Right you are Bob, for all those years, you get....

- Gray hair!

- a bald pate if you qualify!

- slower reflexes!

- an expanding mid section!

- achy joints!

- longer injury recovery times!

- a greater likely-hood of diabetes, heart attack, stroke, cancer, and other more insidious conditions and diseases!

And, the most important prizes of all - the experience to BEAT THE EVER LOVING CRAP out of youngsters that want to wargame against you!. Back to you, Bob!"

Re: Simple question

We still roll dice with the best of them...unless the arthritis kicks in.

You forgot flatulence.... lol

In my experience, that's largely an issue of diet - though heart burn and constipation seem more frequent....

That's why you have the young blonde bimbo at your side to roll the dice for you...

Okay, I'm fantasizing, again.

*wanders off with a vacant look in the eyes and a smile*

Re: Simple question

And though my wife likes board games she won't come to the local game shop and roll dice for me...though I can get the kids to do it sometime.

Re: Simple question

My fiance' games with me..... we met over a 40K game, and have been together ever since....LOL

Although she is not blonde.... red hair, blue eyes and freckles.... and favors things like Dark Eldar......

Re: Simple question

She does come to the local game shop so that is still a plus.
