Watched "Highlander" (the first movie) the other night.
While it's still an excellent flick, it's not quite the same once you realize that the Kurgan is Mr. Krabs...

He is?
Wow.
I'm thinking that this is a 'Geekier than thou' contest sometimes....
It is.
And I win.
I actually didn't know that... but then again, I actually have never seen an episode of Sponge Bob.....

Clancy Brown has a rather long list of credits. When looking through them, I noticed something I found moderately amusing.
In 1993 he did the voice of Rayden for an animated Mortal Combat series. The same character that was played 2 years later by Christopher Lambert in the live-action movie..

Who needs screen credits?
Just close your eyes and picture Mr. Krabs saying "I took his head and raped his woman before his blood was even cold."

...eeeuuhhh...man, I can't even GO there..
That you watch Sponge Bob and don't have kids tells me you have WAY too much free time on your hands....
OR that he has great taste!
I watch a LOT of cartoons...
Are you guys needing something to DO?
I watch a LOT of cartoons...
You need to be designing more games, not rotting your brain with cartoons.

HEY!!! Cartoons are the only decent entertainment LEFT on TV! Well...some of them are at any rate.
Actually, I have 2 daughters... they never got into Sponge Bob......

I watch a LOT of cartoons...
Oddly, so do I.
Duck Dodgers, Johnny Bravo, Justice League Unlimited - and that's at work...
Are you guys needing something to DO?
What? Jealous?
Remember.... "the greater the mind, the greater the need for play"...
Tells you lot something, eh?

Please to call it....Research!
All work and no play makes Jack (or in this case, Dan and Mike) a Dull Boy.

Heh, heh....my 18 year old SON is, though. If you're paying atention, there's lots of social commentary in it. Like Johnny Bravo, or Duck Dodgers.
..oh, and if you're paying attention, the most cutting edge thinking sometimes actually comes from cartoons, ever watch good Anime?
Ghost in the Shell, Robotech....it really IS research. Heavy Metal......?
I've seen those...
Unfortunately, I watch any show in segments... it usually takes me 2 or 3 days to watch a movie... between work, and other stuff, I rarely get any uninterrupted hours a day.
Nahuris
"Shut your noise tube, Taco-Human!"
Watch "Vexille" if you get a chance. WILD anime...and some dang cool power armor (among other things). It's done in the same vein as the new Appleseed: Ex Machina
