I should maybe clarify-- this would be a collection of stories by Wells that establish and expand the Iron Stars background.
It's not a "game" per se...

Hmmm....I like the cover. I'm not sure if a picture could improve the reception, knowing (more or less) what the contents would be...
One might add that this makes MJ12 more a 'publisher' than a 'Game Company', but that's fine by me.
I agree, it' sa little um boring compared to the other IS books.
Now martians fighting on the barren wastes of mars would be really awesome...
mike, can you whip something up like that?
jim

Perhaps, but then I'm trying to emulate something very specific. It's not meant to be comparable to the IS rulebooks; this is supposed to be a formal "library" of works from the Victorian/Edwardian period.

That was my initial impulse, and yes, I can.
But I sorta figured Dan had something like this in mind. I'm working up Martians on and off, I've voluntered to do some interior illustrations, but Dan hasn't said yeah or nay yet...

*shrug*
I love fluff as much as anyone... but not really.
Did I mention that the idea had occurred to me last year...
I do really like the idea, just not the cover
For the Record, Jim says "I'll take a copy!" as long as it's in print form!

Afraid I'll pass, sorry. Already own all the Wells stories in one format or another.

Some more refinements, and a preview of the second volume:

I think Jim and I have resolved our "differences" on the graphic design...

Not bad...

So, to solve the problem, we've created ....'The Christmas Books'!
<chuckle>
