The R3-A Mist Leopard is a low tech, easily maintained light quad-mecha unit built by the Venturi Corporation in the Free Stars Alliance.  This unit is intended to be a fast raider and guerilla combat unit, able to get in behind enemy lines and cause as much havoc as possible.  Well armed and armored, the unit suffers from any real defensive measures other than speed and the Krysteel Armor covering it.  But for the independent colonies, cheap and reliable make just as good of a sales pitch as heavy defenses.
