I was interested in putting together a late 1890s scenario with the French and Russian fleets vs the British fleet. I note that the ship data on the British and Russian navies are quite extensive, but very little work has been done with the French navy. The French gun tables in the rules do not appear to have any entries earlier than 1900.
Has anyone out there tried French Pre-Dreadnoughts?
Anyone know of a good data source for the older French guns?

I haven't actually played a game with them yet, but I did put together a (obviously) hypothetical scenario between the Brits and French, and set in about 1890. If you're interested, send me an e-mail and I'll send you the file.
