Topic: Fighter options - bomber and interceptor

These used to be in X. Would their modifiers work for AE as well or would the factors need to be upped or downed a bit?

Any idea why they were dropped? I thought they added some good flavor to flights.

They were dropped because we allowed certain weapon options to be appended to fighters. That gave the fighters more options than the old way, and made fighters more "attuneable" to the universe they playedin.

If I'm recaling the reasoning correctly, that is....

Dan would have to chime in about re-costing "X" options in "Admiralty" games.

They weren't dropped. Bombers and interceptors are included in Starmada: Dreadnoughts.

Don't want to pick up that book just for the bomber/interceptor rules? There will be a rules compilation early in the new year...

Oh sweet!  I take back every vaguely critical thing I ever said about... ummm... anything MJ21 did WRT the SAE expansion books!
