Topic: Babylon 5 -- Amazon Deal of the Day

65% off is a good deal for most things.

Re: Babylon 5 -- Amazon Deal of the Day

I actually managed to pick up the first four seasons at Best Buy a while back for $20 each (season 5 is not worth watching, IMHO).

I have about 6 episodes left in season 5 and I kinda feel the same way.  With the large arcing plots pretty much finished, I really can't see how this will in on a high note.  I should just finish wanting them...

While most of Season 5 isn't up to the standards of the prior seasons, the final episode is excellent.

Re: Babylon 5 -- Amazon Deal of the Day

I was more or less given the series as a gift -- started as a loan, but each time I try and return them, he tells me that his life is in the air, just go ahead and hang onto them -- been going on for almost 18 months now....LOL

I still haven't managed to get too far into season 5, but I have definitely gotten some mileage out of Ivonova's little speach before they engaged the shadow omegas......LOL

Finally finished the seasons and it was okay.  I still think that the big fight was during season 3 and anything after was just filler...

I do want to buy some of the Bab5 ships for fleets however.

Season 5 is a bit of a let-down.

Especially the whole Byron arc, that was just rubbish. To cap it all off, I don't have the starting part of one of the episodes. Its the episode where the Narn/Drazi fleet arrives at Centauri Prime...

I agree that it was strange to me, but perhaps when the show was on the air that it made sense in terms of current events.  Still, if that whole arc was gone, I wouldn't be missing anything....
