Topic: Things to buy

Ok, I just bought and read the core rules.

What should I buy next, the Rules annex or the Imperial sourcebook ?
The ship designs, campaig system, scenario generator and 3D movement system of the latter seems better.

But are the rules in the annex going to be more useful ?

If you are going to design your own ships then the Rules Annex has the rules from the various supplements, but if you are after collections of competing Empires then go for one of the sourcebooks (I suggest Hammer and Claw).

So ... I just bought Empire sourcebook in order to quicly start playing by VASSAL.

Anyone interested ? Or I just have waste some €?  :evil:

Ok so I own now Starmada core rules and Imperial sourcebook.

I read the description of rules anex and I wonder what it brings more than ISS ?

Sovereign stars, 3d movement and all this stuff is already in ISS so what's the point ?

The Rules Annex also includes material from Hammer and Claw, Iron Stars and Dreadnoughts. The only thing from those (And ISS) that it does not include are the ships. Even though I have ISS, I'm going to eventually pick up the Rules Annex so I have all the optional rules in one book instead of scattered throughout five books (Main, ISS, H&C, IS and Dread).
