Just a query 'bout Klingon Armada - does it come with map board and counters, or is it just a rulebook?

Just a book. IIRC, you can buy the Federation Commander mapboards and counters separately from ADB's webstore.
The problem is that their postage rates are stratospheric - literally. I live in New Zealand, and they want $43USD for postage. No way that's gonna happen.

If you are a little more crafty, you can make your own counters.
I start with 1.25 inch diameter wooden disks from the local craft store and Avery full page label paper.

There are plenty of places online to download spaceship artwork. Just use a photo editer (Photoshop, Paint..) and size and print the art on the Avery label paper. The link below is to a set of drone counters that I made using a drawing of a Nike-Zeus missile.

Then I cut them out using a craft hole punch and peal and stick to the wooden disks.

Wow, yeah, that'd be a bit restrictive for ordering from ADB.
Google "DOGA L3" - download and install.
REAL easy to do basic artwork with it.
There's a Yahoo Group called 'DOGACGA' for support if it's too byzantine for you.
If I remember correctly the international shipping prices at the ADB site are wrong (too high) and will be corrected before the package is shipped to you. I suggest you contact ADB and ask about the actual shipping costs to NZ.
