Topic: Turkish Fleet (and Hull boxes)

Just wondering if anyone has done the ship cards for the Turkish Fleet yet? Just thought I would save myself some time before I started to calculate them myself.

I had the devil's own job trying to work out how to calculate Hull boxes (10.4). Fortunately my wife is more numerate than me and found this exponent calculator - thought I would share it

You might find this spreadsheet useful.

I've managed to acquire the conway's books from 1860 through 1995. Now I'm generating databases for the fleets from 1890-1950. Will take some time, but the spreadsheet speeds up the math quite a bit, and reduces human error as well.

Re: Turkish Fleet (and Hull boxes)

Dear Bruce

Thanks for the reply - I had downloaded the spread sheet and had a little tinker before work this morning. I will use it and my trusty copy of Jane's (haven't got Conway or 90 quid) I will upload my offerings when I am done. However, the Turkish fleet is not that big and the Goeban and Breslau are probably covered in the German section.
