Ok, I understand that Plasma is a Seeker, and I know how Seekers work, but some important data seems to be missing:
1) What is the 'Attack Value' for the torpedoes shown on page 34? Is this the same as 'Accuracy'?
2) Are the other values (Impact and Damage) the same as the Plasma Bolt lines on the ship cards?

Yes.

Both are equal to 1.

I just got my rules today; it seems to me that the seeking plasma bolt seems to be a bit weak. I think the bolted plasma seems to me more powerful then the seeking plasma.
I remember having the fear of god put into me, when Romulans shot a plasma torp at my ship. According to these rules I would not even try to dodge the plama or waste any shots at it.
Am I reading it wrong?
I'm not sure if you're reading it "wrong" or not ... but eight attack dice in the Fighter Phase seems like a lot to me. 
Also, the potential damage of plasma torpedoes is consistent with that of other weapons in the SFU.

Just checked the book against the draft text that you sent me.
The Plasma size has been increased in the book for all, with the largest at size 8.
The book also has Plasma D added, could this have been why?

Plasma-D was added because I had overlooked it initially (it's not specifically mentioned in the Romulan Border book that I was using as a reference).
Guess I am going to have to play with it a bit.
