Topic: Help w/scenarios?

In the Starmada and Grand Admiral rulebooks, we provide a half-dozen "generic" scenarios that are supposed to be representative of the types of battles fought by naval/space forces.

I'm looking for help in identifying (and designing) a similar set of archetypical scenarios for modern/sci-fi ground combat...

Generally ground combat really isn't that different in plot from starship stuff.

Force A meets Force B and attempts to inflict enough casualties to cause Force B to break off their assault. Force B tries to inflict enough casualties to break through Force A with enough remaining units to continue the assault on their real objective.

Force A attacks base/installation in Force B's territory. Force B defenders respond and attempt to destroy or drive off Force A. Force A needs to defeat defenders as well as do significant damage to the base/installation.

Patrol of Force A along contested border areas to watch for reprisal attacks from Force B yet is ambushed by Force B.

Force A is escorting important prisoners of war from Force B to a secure rear area facility when attacked by a rescue team from Force B.

Off the top of my head in general terms.

1 - Clear the area of opposition
2 - Defend the position until relieved
3 - Defend the area until given the word to clear out
4 - Take Artifact/Person/Device and return to be picked up
5 - Protect Artifact/Person/Device from harm/theft.
6 - Recon area - send in report
7 - Report to area/person, eliminate opposition
8 - Seek and destroy Artifact/Person/Device/Unit
9 - Take and hold area/position

I would say look at the operations conducted in a conflict that most closely matches the concept of your game and adapt accordingly.
