Alot of the books have rules for Convoy battles.
I know the base rulebook does.

I didn't find it, neither in the rulebook nor in any other book I own.

Yes I have.

It was a scenario with 6 pirates against 4 transport protected by 2 big ships. Both fleets are equally sized. The transports and the big ships were placed in line on the cented of the board. The 6 pirates arrive from a randomn direction determined by a d6.

The transports were not unarmed and all ships had only sidewards firing guns like 17th and 18th century ships of line. In the battle that follows the big ships were screening the transports. I liked the scenario which I designed. My opponent didn't.
