These designs are inspired by, but by no means an accurate adaptation of, some races from B5W. The Terrans were inspired by the Earth Alliance (apart from the Ant, which I decided to design to give the TU a small patrol/escort ship), the Liamin by the Centauri (apart from the Cherkal, which was the first Liamin ship I designed, years ago, and based it on a cross between the Omega and Nova--heavy weapons front and back, with turrets in the centre), and the Vorikah by the Descari.

Unfortunately, I think the light weapons might bog down the playability of these vessels, but that is why I gave them fire-linked, so that they could be rolled for with just one die.

I was making some preliminary notes on conversion into SFO and noticed that the Vorikah heavy ships had twin arrays, not light particle beams. This has been corrected.

EDIT: I also noticed that the Liamin Cherkal had three rail and plasma repeaters in a AB arc. When designing the Cherkal, I had allocated space for three of each repeater, and originally arranged it into three AB arcs, then decided to place one in a EF arc. But when writing these ships up, I failed to note that there should only be three weapons, not four. This has now been corrected--the Cherkal now has two AB repeaters of both types and one in the EF arc.
