Topic: Minis?

So...

Anyone know of a unique, quirky line of minis that doesn't have an associated rules set? Something that goes beyond your typical orks/dwarves/elves?

Looking for an excuse to do an ARES supplement... smile

Re: Minis?

I would say make three factions, get it all sculpted and then make an ARES suppliment. smile

Of course, who has money for miniatures these days! smile  Purhaps something with brigade models and their newly acquired Celtos line?

Re: Minis?

thing is:

there's no dearth of good sculptors, and casters.

Problem is: $$$

Now, if we were to do something like the US equivalent of the 100 club, what would we do first?

Next, how much would we be willing to pay?

A name so nice, you said it TWICE...
(someone had to say it)

Does Celtos have a game system associated with it? As a person who's largely Irish, this line of minis DOES interest me.

Fomorrians? heh.....

Re: Minis?

yes it does....

there is a full game system etc etc to accompany the 5 races of models,

gaels - celts
vanir - dwarves
sidhe - elves
formorians - orcs
fir bolg - undead

we currently getting it all sorted, and back out there...

then who knows
