I was wondering what would be the best way to convert battle armor from classic battletech to wardogs
Treat the battle armor as size 1 mecha for design purposes.
Chris did some conversion stuff for 3025 CBT to Wardogs with the original 14 mechs. You can find his notes near the bottom of my web page here;
