Topic: Captain's Log

A few requests and a question:

(A) Can you please make sure to have four *new* ships in each issue?  It's a little disappointing to flip back to the end and maybe see just two ships, but worse... seeing ships I've already gotten.

(B) Is there any way (now that Stinger fighters are out) that you can get more carriers and fighter groups published in Captain's Log...?!

(C) Also... in each issue... is it possible to maybe get a new scenario for use with the most recent release...?

(D) I've sent in tactics "term papers" before, but I'm not sure they're getting to the right person.  What is the correct place to send those so that I could have a chance to get them published...?

When it comes to (B) I am not sure if ADB has decided on this. I actually hope that no other fighters get added. Because it would require adding so many other systems to counteract the fighters it would not be worth it.

It feels like the ADB is trying to keep the Armada series as clean as possible. (i.e. like Federation Commander)

When it comes to (C), are you looking for conversions of SFB/Fed Com scenarios or brand new scenarios?

Scenarios... I can probably do a conversion of an FC scenario and submit it, but I don't seem to have the knack of coming up with original scenarios for this game, I don't get the opportunity to play it enough and get inspired for ideas. (I'm Terry O'Carroll, I wrote up the scenario conversion that appeared in Captain's Log).

Your questions A and B, I can't help you with I'm afraid.  smile

We probably need MJ12 to submit the ships to ADB for inclusion in the Captain's Log and other media.  Alternatively, ships can be published via the other SFB newsletters that come out each month.  These other places would be great for bringing out Armada scenarios as well.
