Topic: Range and Ranged Attacks

Hey all! I'm having some issues on understanding ranged attacks; my main question was how far can a figure shoot in inches?

Re: Range and Ranged Attacks

The maximum range is the figure's range factor times five.

Re: Range and Ranged Attacks

Okay. Lets say this, I have Figure A shooting at figure B. My Figure A has a Short Bow which has a range factor of 3. So, if range is determined by RFx5 this equals 15", right?

So figure A rolls his attack die and damage die. Figure B rolls his armor die and the range die, which is a d8, right?

Re: Range and Ranged Attacks

The range die depends on the distance to Figure B:

1-3" = d4
4-6" = d6
7-9" = d8
10-12" = d10
13-15" = d12

Re: Range and Ranged Attacks

So the maximum range of any ranged attack is 15" then? Since distances greater than Range Factor 5 = out of range, right?

Re: Range and Ranged Attacks

Er, no... 15" would be the maximum range for a figure with a range factor of 3; a figure with a RF of 5 (for example) would be able to shoot out to 25".
