I've just gotten my gaming group into Starmada (the first taste is free, heh heh), and we had a question which came up last night. One of us interprets the impact rules as saying that for each impact die that succeeds, you do a full set of damage from that weapon. So, for example, if I had a weapon which had an IMP of 5 and a DMG of, and I succeeded on all five of the impact rolls, I would do 25 dice damage. Is that a correct interpretation?
You're missing the DMG value in your hypothetical scenario, so I can't say if you're right or wrong. I will say you are correct in your interpretation if the intended DMG value is 5.
