Back to Starmada from a break. I lost my Rules Annex for the Admiralty Edition, but I see the Nova Edition is now out. So, if I get Nova instead of replacing the Rules Annex, will I be missing all the fun rules from the Rules Annex?

Not sure I understand the question... the Rules Annex is for the Admiralty Edition, which is superseded by the new Nova Rulebook. So, if you want to stick with SAE, you should get the Annex. If you want to jump into the Nova edition, you need to get the new rulebook.
Ahh, sorry I was not clear. Does the new Nova rule book include things like a damage track and the other rules in the Rules annex, or will there be a Nova Rules Annex release later?
The Annex was just a compilation of all the rules which were in the SAE supplements that were released after the main rulebook. With no Nova supplements out there's no need for an annex yet. As to which special rules are in Nova, there should be an Appendix A floating around that lists them all. At least that's what cricket did for SAE.
Some things could be included in that future annex, if there will be one. The scenario generator presented here, some new traits (weapons, ships, whatever) critical hits...
