Topic: Defiance in the UK

Or more importantly, getting it.

Is there anywere selling DVG over in old blighty, or am I restricted to the web store (which I cant get working at the mo anyway)?

p.s. I like rules I can hold so dont really want the PDF if I can avoid it (within reason).

Re: Defiance in the UK

I don't actually think the printed edition is out yet. Apart from the print-on-demand version, obviously. Dan & Demian will correct me if need be...

Miniatureswise, you're in luck of course since the official minis are being worked on (too slowly if you ask me, but of course I'm just a whinin' fanboy ) by a UK company.

Which web store are you referring to? smile

Anyway, I'm not aware of anyone selling Defiance outside of the US, but I can get you a copy reasonably cheaply...

Err... the POD version IS the printed edition.

The quality from Lulu has been consistently high -- just as good as our "traditional" print options.

So, for the time being anyway, all of our products are "in print". smile

Obviously was thinking of an old fashion printed edition, you know the kind the big companies have, with books ending up gathering dust on the shop shelves (in the worst case). Apparently not going to happen. Don't matter to me personally of course. Am perfectly happy with my print-out of the PDF version, if only I can find it some day (a lot of my stuff's in packing cartons since I've been in the process of moving house since August).

Re: Defiance in the UK

Sorry the web store was the "order now" link from the MJ12 page, which is working now, and is the print on demand version I think.

edit- which takes me back to the shopping cart when ever I change my address country to the UK....helpfull

Re: Defiance in the UK

LV - did you manage to order a print copy from the website?

-Demian

Re: Defiance in the UK

Nope not yet.
I mainly wanted to see how much P&P to the UK would be before I ordered TBH, payday isnt a a week or so yet, but after I changed the country to UK it kept taking me back to the shopping basket.

After the 6th time it started to get annoying.

Re: Defiance in the UK

Hmmm, maybe Dan can figure out what's up with the website.  Sorry for the annoyance...

Yeah... unfortunately, any website problems are Lulu's purview, not mine, so I can't fix it.

Very soon now, any problems we have with other vendors' web sites will be irrelevant... smile

Re: Defiance in the UK

Will I be better off waiting for "very soon" then?

No problems Demian, its all Lulu's fault (not the scotish one either....for once).

Re: Defiance in the UK

From the news section:

Well, I'm not quite ready to make it "public", but I will notify all of you about the latest and greatest development in MJ12-land:

Introducing the MJ12 eStore!

All your MJ12 buying habits can now be sated in one location... check it out:

It's still in "beta" release, so to speak. Please let me know of any problems and/or bugs you may find.
