Topic: (Draft) S:NE Order of Play for Simultaneous Play option

The title is self-explanatory...

I'm hoping to play a game tomorrow with some of my Eternal Quest vessels, but want to play with simultaneous play. I'm hoping that people will read this through and comment on whether it's correct or not...

Excellent & Well thought-out.
:idea: One minor change:  Have fighters, drones, shuttles, etc move before overthrusters are used.  This allows ships that have them to use them to change facing to bring weapons to bear on fighters to defend a friendly ship or themselves more effectively.

Personally, I think the sequence is good as is. I for one think that Overthrusters should stay where they are in the sequence because I think that they should convey a maneuverability advantage over non-overthruster starships but not over fighters. To me, fighters should always have the move advantage over starships, particularly in their Nova incarnation. Just my 2 cents.

Initially I had placed fighter movement before overthrusters, but I think, like Erik, that fighters should have some slight manoeuvring advantages. Of course, with most of my ships having AF batteries in TT arcs, it doesn't make much difference...:)

In making up this OoP, I jotted the necessary information down from the rulebook and then cross-referenced particular bits to make sure they added up, so to speak...

<LOL>  You are absolutely right on this. lol   
All my ships have their range three Chain Guns, which are for AA-fire, in TT mounts. 
So it does not matter if fighters  move last.  Drones & seekers being weapons that home onto a ship are also not a problem.
