Topic: Starmada: Starfleet---marine boarding?

How many marines can a ship "fire" at another for boarding each turn?
Can a Federation DN board a Klingon D6 with its entire marine compliment in one turn?

Does anyone have any house rules for differing ship turning "agility" abilities----for example
for a Klingon D7?

Hello.  In normal SNE, all of the Marines a ship has may attempt board any ship(s) in range.  I presume that this is the case with Starfleet-Starmada ships.

Re: Starmada: Starfleet---marine boarding?

Thank you---no concerns about assaulting with 20 marines in one turn? I'm thinking in terms of Federation Commander which only allows marine assaults each turn to match the number of transporters.

Re: Starmada: Starfleet---marine boarding?

In SNE, you roll for each Marine BdPt, based on range.  Also in Starfleet-SNE, you can fire all of any ships drones in one salvo...

Re: Starmada: Starfleet---marine boarding?

With SNE, games usually don't last more than 5 turns. And with the official SFU, games can be over in less than that (the firepower/resilience factor is very high, ships are dying way too easily IMHO), you will feel lucky if you are able to use your marines at least once.

SNE can't reproduce SFB battles, the pace is not the same.
