Topic: The RJW in space?

All those nice new Japanese starship renders on the MJ12 FB page got my imagination going:
What about a module for the Russo Japanese War in space?

Such a thing might be just the thing to rekindle the IS excitement, and given that the Russian models already exist, it would require a minimal amount of new ships.  It could even be the springboard for the fabled new edition...

Should such a thing be feasible, I'd be happy to offer my services to assist developing such an expansion

Well, technically the RJW already exists in space: it's the Far East War, as described in the Iron Stars rulebook. Obviously, the new edition will retain this history. smile

A fair point indeed!

Sorry if I was unclear, I meant a detailed sourcebook and scenario pack to pit the Tsar's Space Fleet against the Meiji Emperor's new orbital squadrons!  Especially in the area near the Tsushima asteroid field  big_smile
