Okay, I want to generate even more interest in the Bourbaki Basin, so I'm going to offer prizes to people who submit ship designs to the shipyard.

I'm going to send a free space ship model (either from Brigade or Cold Navy) to the top three designers of space ships (sorry Go0gleplex, this will be a quality thing).

I'll run a poll al-la The Miniatures Page to have folks choose which race and designs they like best and the winners will get the prizes.

These are convention/tournament prizes from last year's convention rounds and they're absolutely great minis from two great companies.

Why...we here at Go0gleplex Shipworks produce nothing BUT quality products!  Take this here Vuldrok 5 destroyer...*WHACK*...solid as a rock (dorsal turret falls out of its mounting)...:roll: . Quick escape system for the gunnery crew in case of being hit.

Does the "quality" quantifier include a write up on the ship or are we talking straight design basis?

I'm thinking that the more info you put into the ship design, the better off you'll be when it comes time to give awards!

Note, I am not the sole decision maker, however, I do have veto power over any "popularity" contests. (Like that's gonna happen)

Anyway, also remember that these must be new designs and not a copy and paste from an existing source book.

Oh well...*chuckles* I'm just doin the ship designs for the fun of it...and to keep myself occupied while sitting on a construction site with not much to do while they dig enough trench to put pipe in at night.  :wink:

My designs are themed off the lil racial background blurb I start out with.  One is high fire rate, another is hit 'em hard and hang tough, the third is zippy snippy.  smile   A variety to enjoy from the many personalities of Go0gleplex Shipworks. *insane laughter*
