Topic: Starmada Nova Edition and Battlefleet Gothic

Hey there,

I've just bought and read the Nova Edition, and am now itching to give my dusty BFG models a spin. I've seen that Beowulf has done the work for statting up the Imperial fleet here: http://www.mj12games.com/forum/viewtopi … amp;t=6002

Are there any stats for Chaos and Eldar out there somewhere in space?

And a technical question: would it be possible to play two movement systems in the same game? I'm specifically thinking of the standard system for Imps and Chaos,  with Eldar using Solar. Has anyone tried that?

Re: Starmada Nova Edition and Battlefleet Gothic

Sadly not, but it sounds interesting. Certainly adds another tactical layer, as one side moves faster in one direction than another.

Re: Starmada Nova Edition and Battlefleet Gothic

At the moment, I am unaware of any Chaos/Eldar conversions. But they shouldn't be too hard -- and I think Nova would be an excellent choice for BFG (moreso than Admiralty).

Also, yes, I see no reason why two sides couldn't use different movement systems, with the caveat that such a thing has not been fully tested, so there may be balance issues that are not immediately apparent.

Well then, that sounds like I have got myself another project.
I will get to work on stats, buy a Hotz mat, and report back later this year.

Looking forward to it! big_smile
