Topic: Good news for those who can't run the Unity Drydock

If, like me, you can't run the Unity Drydock because you use Linux, or if you simply don't have access to Excel, I have good news. The version of Excel in MS Office Online seems to run the Drydock just fine. I have not tested it completely, but the "error 502" I was getting no longer appears, and so far it seems to be working as expected. Give it a try - it's free, so you have nothing to lose! The instructions on the above page will work for you whether you run Linux, Windows, or Mac - it's all the same since you run the app in your web browser.

Using it needs a Microsoft Account though, so this'll only be useful for people willing to get or whom already have one.

Personally speaking, not having to deal with a Microsoft account is one of the reasons why I don't use Microsoft Office, so I'm still hoping for a Shipyard Unity to come out someday.

Another option is Planmaker, part of FreeOffice 2018 from Softmaker. It has versions for Windows and Linux.
The PlanMaker spreadsheet part of it works great. I use it at home and MS Office at work with no compatibility issues beyond making sure to save as a .xlsx file rather than the native PlanMaker format.

Yup, it's what I use at home. Haven't had any problems.
