Topic: Using other editions with Unity

If one were going to try to utilize ship cards from a previous edition of Starmada with Unity ships/rules, am I correct in assuming that Admiralty would be preferable to Nova? What sort of alterations would be needed? I am referring specifically to the SFU, if that matters.

Re: Using other editions with Unity

There are guidelines for using both Admiralty and Nova ships in Appendix Z.

Re: Using other editions with Unity

When we play here in Jacksonville, a friend uses Starmada-Nova ships.  The rules for using them in the 'Unity games work well.
We are playing Starmada this Wednesday.  8-)

I just realized the backwards compatibility rules are not in Appendix Z. Here they are:

Thank you!

Re: Using other editions with Unity

The truth is, I'd rather wait for the Unity SFB pdfs to be released. Any word on when Distant Armada Unity is coming? I was hoping to put it on my Christmas list.
