Topic: Newbie Question... SFU Products compatibility with latest Edition?

Hi,

I am new here (so please be nice if I ask a stupid question...), I just purchased the latest version of 'Starmada Core Rulebook' from Wargame Vault and think I am in love with the rules set. smile

Since I am also a SFB fan since the 80s. I am interested in the Star Fleet Starmada series products line.

Are the latest Core Rulebook compatible with the SF Starmada Unity series? (e.g. Klingon Armada: Unity)

Or I need to get the Starmada Unity Rulebook instead?

The SFU ships are compatible -- with a few modifications as described on pp.68-69 of the Core Rulebook. Feel free to ask questions here if they don't make sense.

Better, as long as you buy Klingon or Romulan Armada, you don't need the Unity Rulebook; the rules needed to play are included in those books.
