That said, the new GZG 15mm scale vehicles are spiffy. And John Bear Ross is bringing out 1/100 (that's technically more than 15mm, you know, but still) vehicles and infantry that look mighty fine too. So it would be good time to be a 15mm scale Defiance player (although it could be better, for example if JBR would endorse Defiance instead of working on Yet Another Ruleset [TM]...).
And yet I'm not sure I get the thread title. It's the helmets in the last pic, right?
