Re: A second helping of bacon...

Fire Arrows and Hale Rockets in the same fleet?  Is that legit?  I thought that was an either-or choice.

Other than that possible quibble, nice designs.  Scary big torps, there.

There's no rule against it, although it makes sense to only allow one type of rocket per fleet...

OTOH, the Hale and Congreve rockets were both British innovations originally, weren't they?

I just thought the (somewhat superior) Fire Arrows were a Russia/China only toy.

Indeed.

In official publications, we will likely limit Fire Arrows to the Soviet/Chinese bloc -- but there's no practical game reason to restrict them from being mounted on other ships, or in conjunction with other types of rocket.

Re: A second helping of bacon...

I thought it made sense. Fire Arrows are less accurate but more penetrating, so the real battleship in the fleet would mount them. However, the Hale Rocket is more accurate but less penetrating, more useful for shooting down FACs--which, incidentally, the Tordenskjold is used for.

Re: A second helping of bacon...

I meant to say this over five days ago, but I changed the Tordenskjold. It now has 25 Fire Arrows, and costs 1 point less.
