Topic: Special factors multiplier calculation question.

When figuring the multiplier for the special factors of a model, what is the required order to put these in as they are multiplied together?

Different special abilities have different multipliers associated with them, and the order they are put in can lead to different numbers as a result, thereby leading to a different combat rating.

So, lowest to highest, or the order they are alphabetically, or something else?

Also has anyone made a worksheet to help figure out model costs, or better yet maybe some software?

Thanks for any help,

Bruce.

If I'm understanding your question correctly, the order that the special abilities are "multiplied in," so to speak, shouldn't make any difference whatsoever.
Since the point costing equation is pure multiplication, the order is irrelevent.
If you're using the equation correctly, that is.

I'm not sure if there's a worksheet here on the website, but if you go to the MJ12 Yahoo group, there's an Excel spreadsheet in the ARES files section.

I may be stupid or smokin' crack then  smile

Last night I was fiddling with the numbers and came up with a few differences. I'll double check and make sure I was using all the same numbers.
