Topic: Hallmark

I'm thinking of gnabbing some Hallmark 1/6000 ships for my WWI Grand Fleets battles.  I already have a handful of larger ships from different manufacturers, but my budget is such that Hallmark is tempting AND reviews seem to show the detail on them is surprisingly good.

I've looked at the pricing online -- where I can find it -- and it seems I can field a medium sized battle for something like $30.

Anyone know a good online retailer here in the US to go to?

Re: Hallmark

Hallmark is no longer in business.
That's the bad news, according to TMP:

The good new, also according to TMP is that NobleMinis has taken up their slack.

It looks like it's a US operation now, and that UK-ers must go to a stockist.

This link goes right to their 1/6000th page. (whoops forgot the link, had to edit!)

I ordered some 1/285th infantry from them earlier this week and they haven't arrived yet, so I can't give you an opinion about their service/punctuality.  Even if I could, it would only be from one experience.

Re: Hallmark

I'm at WORK for crying out loud!

Re: Hallmark

Mike,

Surely you don't think that he's... DOING the dolphin's blowhole?!

Blowholes are forward of the dorsal fin...

All you have in that graphic is some male nudity, nothing... umm... perverse.

I'm not an ichthyologist, I'm an Artist, damn it!

Everyone else seemed....cognizant...of the potential. I'm simply rejecting the possibility as something acceptable in polite society.

Re: Hallmark

That "dolphin" looks to have gills, and a vertical planar tail. I think Neptune has "jumped the shark"

And considering the size of 1:6000 miniatures I he doesn't stop that he could go blind
