Hi Jim, thanks for your reply. Don't worry, wasn't looking to publish any non canon army lists, just to use ftm instead of other rules.  Do you have rules and points for the use of muskets and pistols?

thanks in advance,

DAvid

well, sorry.

The issue with posting armies from existing games/ worlds is a copytight one.  You're certainly welcome to try your hand at creating conversion lists, but it's doubtful we'll publish those.

Oh, and I guess I'm sort of back smile

These army lists are great.  I know that we can make up our own armies for FTM but some of us just don't have the time to spare to point up an army (I  have two very little boys and a busy full time job - some people have more energy than I do but usually I'm shattered at the end of the day).    This is FTM's single point of failure that I see the apparent lack of downloadable army lists.

Could all the army lists be gathered in one place and posted somewhere?  I'm happy to go through the forum and pull out all the lists people have posted and put them into word documents - but who do I send them to?  I can put them up on Media fire and post a link on the list.

Good luck in getting a reply.  This forum is like a ghost town.

Guys
I know that you are all very busy but I'm quite disappointed a that lack of response to posts on this forum.  If you don't spend time replying to posts (even one) then people will lose faith in using the forum.  I  have to admit that I much prefer yahoo groups over forums because people are more likely to reply to posts.

Hi
Did you manage to make any progress on the Warhammer conversion?   I'd be interested to know.  Perhaps we can work on trying to convert armies.  Which set of rules are you using?  I have both v 4 and 6 of Warhammer and it's amazing how similar the armies are from early 1990s to the 2000s - there's been almost no change in the background and armies - just rehashing of GW army books to make more money.  The world of Warhammer crystallised in the WHFB from 4th edition and hasn't changed since.

Hi
I know that there's more army lists due to come out with the new version of FTM shortly - but are these available for use now?  Is there a document that we can download?  Has anybody tried creating armies for Conan, Warhammer Old World, or any other fantasy background that are available?

David.

Hi
Was there any movement on this?  I've played a number of Age of Sails games and always happy to try a new one.  I live in Rochester, UK, right next to Chatham where the HMS Victory was built on the river Medway, so I've been interested in age of sail wargaming for sometime.
